RMG Crane for Steel Track Handling

The RMG crane can be used for handling of steel pipe, steel sheet, steel plate or steel track with electromagnetic sling or clamp sling. During the hoisting operation of large projects for big projects, multiple cranes are usually applied together to hoist the same object through wireless linkage. It is not only safe and reliable, but also effectively guarantee the orderly progress of the task. The linkage cranes also greatly improves the lifting capacity and working efficiency, reduce the use and maintenance costs.
During hoisting operation, usually 2 or more cranes are used together to lift a same big object (oversize and overweight). This requires several cranes to have coordinated action and maintain synchronization during lifting, running and braking. In the project below, 4 RMG cranes are employed to handle steel tracks at railway freight yard.

The 4 RMG cranes for Xi'an Railway Bureau adopts Siemens 1500PLC control system and Schneider ATV71 inverter. It realizes centralized control and sub-control by multi-machine wireless linkage control, making 4 cranes as a group, to lift a single 100-meter-long high-speed rail track.
Features:
1. The cranes can be controlled by the main console and the remote control, as well as operated separately in the cab.
2. When any crane fails, other cranes will stop working automatically
3. The control system has sound and light alarm to remind, diagnose, monitor, troubleshoot and shorten the maintenance time.
4. Electric control system also has a dedicated database for real-time recording of equipment operating conditions, which also can be used to calculate lifting mechanism cumulative overload times in safety work cycle.
5. Crane drive system uses absolute encoder to limit the travel error within 150mm for cranes' synchronous operation within 300m distance.
6. Trolley simultaneous travel uses Gray bus memory positioning, which limits the error ± 3mm in 20m traveling distance.
